Mathematics
Teaching Textbooks for algebra, geometry etc. Best explanations all right in the book, constant review of concepts so you don't forget, best examples of real life use of math, best price for a program that also teaches every lesson on whiteboard, and only one that has a teacher explain how to do each and every problem in the book. Excellent for total independence by student, and for parents with no time or rusty math.
Harold Jacob's Elementary Algebra -- written in a literate style, it's the closest thing to a 'living book' for math, but harder to use than Teaching Textbooks if you or your child are not good at algebra. He also did geometry that reviews algebra all through it.
